If you've been part of the Power On Plants family for any length of time, you know the most common question we get asked anytime we introduce this subject to patients, friends, new acquaintances, Where am I going to get my protein?

Absolutely a hundred percent. Hands down, it's always about the protein.

Jarrod

That is the most asked question we get, and we've covered that in detail many, many times. But I thought today, why don't we address the second most common question that we get. What do you think that is, Anita?

Anita

I think it has to do with, can I eat this? Can I not eat that? It's something to do with that.

Jarrod

It is. I have people that ask me. After I tell them that plants will have plenty of protein, that is not a concern. The very next question is, do I have to stop eating meat?

Anita

Ooh.

Jarrod

I just cut down?

Anita

Yep.

Jarrod

Yeah. Can I? Well, and my response is, no, you don't have to stop eating animal products. No one's going to force you to do anything.

Right. We're not the food police. We'll just tell you that right now. We are not the food police. We are here to give you the information that you need that will open your eyes so that you have an opportunity to prevent and even reverse the most common diseases of our time. And we know that. I think that question is born out of first, they hear the message that you can get protein from plants. Most people sadly do not realize that. They think they must have animal-based products to get protein, but once they hear the message that plants do have protein. I think they just genuinely love their meat.

Anita

But only tofu and only beans. Right? Those are the only things that have protein. No, all plants have the building blocks of protein and you do not have to mix them or any of those things. Again, get inside the community. Search protein, this is not an episode on protein, but you need to have those myth. Busted and replace it with truth so that you don't keep staying stuck in your health struggles, but you can actually have the ability to get set free.

Jarrod

Every plant is a complete source of protein. But I find so many people, they just love their meat and they can't conceive of the possibility that that craving, that intense craving would actually go away. So I think they hear the message, okay, plants do have it, but I just don't know that I can let it go. So then my next thought goes to, well, you can eat your meat, but what kind of results do you want? Do you want some results or do you want amazing results? Actually, this reminds me recently I went to a car show at our church. My boys and I went, and it was fun. It was the first car show that our church has ever had, and they had a number of these really highend sports cars, several Corvettes, and I mean, you know that they're just the engineering on these things, and when they fire'em up, I mean they're just revving. So do you think that the drivers of these vehicles would then allow for their air filter to be clogged? I mean, they, the oils change. They have the perfect fuel, the fuel filters. I mean, all these different aspects of engine performance are tiptop shape, but they have a dirty air filter. Absolutely not. I mean, you'd know they wouldn't do that because they want the most performance out of that car.

Anita

I want the premium experience.

Jarrod

They do. We should want the same thing for our lives. So what kind of results do you want? If you want life changing, earth shattering results, then you need to reverse engineer what can do that for you? What is the end goal? And then map out the way to get there. If you're going on vacation, you decide, where am I going? How do I now get there? You don't just hit the road and think, all right, kids hop in the van. We're just gonna go somewhere and see where the road takes us. No, you wouldn't do that. You would plan out ahead. You need to do that for your life.

Anita

So first you really need to know what you want. Do you want to feel a hundred percent better? Do you want to be like me where I'm at 55 now, we're getting ready to turn 55 in the fall, and I feel better than I did in my forties. I have more energy. I no longer have to set my alarm to get up out of bed in the mornings. Like I wake up at the time, I need to wake up. but I do have a knee problem, and that problem is I have to set my alarm to remind myself to go to bed at night because I'm so busy working into the late hours because I have the energy to do it. I actually feel like it. What would it make possible for you if your body was backing you up so fully and you didn't have to spend your time Googling health symptoms, but instead you spent your time enjoying your family, your friends? Building the business of your dreams to the maximum capacity that you are actually able.'cause now your body actually is backing you up because it feels great, because it has the nutrition it needs. So what Jared's saying is, if you want partial results, you can do partial, you can add some

will get some benefit from it.

Anita

and you'll get some benefits. So some change equals some benefit, but maximum change. Equals maximum benefit and change isn't always painful. You've just been programmed to believe that it's painful because you've been programmed to believe that you have to diet or restrict or willpower through, and it's gonna be a method you don't like in order to get results with your help. And it just could not be farther from the truth. Every one of those things is a lie.

Simple Swaps Without Diet Misery

You're also Dece. Food is gonna taste nasty. A moment ago you were saying Googling symptoms. What if you went from Googling symptoms to Googling opportunities, whether it be business opportunities reaching out to connect with someone, or maybe even a vacation opportunity, you're now wanting to go to Europe and do a cruise on one of the rivers. Now instead of using your time to Google symptoms, you can Google opportunities. Now, I recognize that maybe in the past you tried something like keto, and in the beginning it helped. But now you know a better way and when you know better, you do better.

So the good news is if you decide to go all in and give up all meat, what you're going to find when you learn how to do it the right way is it's not hard to find replacements. I'm all about upleveling upgrading. It's exactly what we show you how to do inside accelerator. You like this before ground beef, you're going to eat this now. And there's tons of different ways to do that. From lentils to walnut meat to mushrooms, to combos of different things to cauliflower to, I mean, there's so many things. And then. I show you how to bring in the seasonings to actually make it taste like ground beef so that you're not gonna miss it and you're not going, yeah. This just pretty much tastes like walnuts, like, huh, this isn't gonna work for me, Anita. Well, yes it will, because I'll show you how to season it up and it's not hard. It's the simplest thing. It's the least ingredients we've ever used. You just have to break through those mindsets of. Dieting mentality. You've been trained to believe. It's hard. It's gonna involve measuring things. I'm going to be miserable while everyone else at the table's enjoying their meal. And it's just how I'm gonna have to live. I guess. I'm not gonna be able to enjoy my food, but my health is just so important. I'm gonna willpower three. That's just not a way you wanna live. Imagine having to do that for the rest of your life, to maintain your health. What if it were possible for you to set up a way of eating that tasted just as good or better than your old favorites That didn't involve any of the miserable dieting methods? Picture Adam and Eve in the garden doing these things like pulling up their macros app, their calorie counting app, their. Measuring their weight, they're weighing themselves every day. Adam, where's the scale? Where's scale? I gotta, I gotta weigh myself. I gotta do my weigh in and write it down and track it and track protein grams, and track all this and all that. It's insanity. when you think about it like that, does it just seem ridiculous? It's'cause it's ridiculous. You were never meant to live this way. But man's ways are difficult. They're complicated. God's ways are not complicated. They're very simple. And once you learn how, because it's different from what you've been doing before, when you have somebody who can walk you through the five steps of how to do that, it. It's going to last and you're going to love it, and you're gonna look forward to it every single day. And I know it sounds so hard to believe because you have been programmed. I've been there. I get it. But the truth is, this is the reality of how it can be for you. I used to be addicted to cheese. I used to eat meat. Daily. I don't miss either one because I have all the substitutes that I love just as much or even better, and it is so simple. It saves me time. The cleanup's easier than ever. Think about if you didn't have to clean up after meat in your kitchen. Just that one thing alone. The meat, when it cooks and it splatters, and the oil and the oil that gets on your cabinets over time that you have to clean off and degrease, and then you're cleaning up trying to clean up bacteria from the meat and all those things, like life was not meant to be this difficult. It just wasn't. So if you're looking at it from a biblical standpoint, look at what Daniel did. We did a whole podcast on Daniel. You can search Daniel when you get inside PPN, you're not gonna wanna miss that one. It's very eye-opening. It's like, why did Daniel do what he did? We often talk about Genesis 1 29. This is the Genesis 1 29 protocol, meaning it is the original and simple way to eat. Because if you think about it from a biblical perspective, it's gonna make so much sense for you when you understand, number one, Adam and Eve would've never done the manmade diet ways like they never would've done that. It just makes no sense. Number two, were animals created to have to die to feed us. When did death first occur in the garden? So start asking yourself questions like that. These questions need to be answered. When did death enter in? So when you look at that, you know from the get go, animals were never meant to die to have to feed us. I'm not being some big animal activist vegan, but I'm just saying we need to be good stewards of what we have. Yes, absolutely. So we do care for the animals. The Bible says a righteous man takes good care of his animals, so that makes perfect sense, We're not saying it's a sin, but God lets men do a lot of things. He's allowed us to have kings. It wasn't his original design. His original design was to be our king. So when you think that through and you go, okay, or his original design was to be our king. Then he allowed us to have kings because we wanted kings,'cause we wanted to be like the other nations then, which would've been better for us, his original design or how it is now in the government, which would've been better. And we can march that out. And it doesn't take a lot of brainpower to figure out which works the best.

there were some righteous kings in Israel's history, but most of them were not righteous. Most of them were corrupt. So we see how that played out.

Addiction Loops And Health Consequences

Right. And it's the same with the food. You look at how simple it was in the garden. Just think about if animals aren't dying and they're living and they're put there for us to enjoy and we're eating our food and it grows off the trees and it's so delicious. but our taste buds haven't at that point been hijacked. All the things that yours have been hijacked by, the dopamine hits from the cheese that hits your brain, and now you're addicted to cheese and milk and dairy and ice cream, and you don't know why. Maybe you don't even realize you are addicted, but it's very addictive food and there's a reason for that. You can find that on our previous podcast. We dive all into that, but it is a known fact that it's an addictive food, and so it keeps you coming back for more. Meanwhile, you think you got a food problem. You've got some emotional problems, some spiritual problem, and meats can be the same way. You know, there are certain things that you get addicted to eating these things and they're fatty, and now you're salting them up. So now you got the salt and the fat combo but what we know is it's very detrimental to our health. There's so many different things in it that cause the top diseases of our time. So when you're asking yourself or you're asking your provider or you're asking Jarret, Hey, do I have to give up meat? No, you don't. You can eat as much meat as you want. You don't have to give up anything and you don't have to add anything. Do I have to add broccoli? No, you don't. But if you do, you're gonna feel much better quicker. And it's the same thing with giving up the meat. It just depends on, it all boils down to what Jared said. What is your goal? What do you want your life to look like one week from now, two weeks from now? We've literally helped people get results in as little as two weeks, having major diseases reverse. Think about that. What if you've dealt with something for 14 years? Plus, we have so many clients that this is their story. they've even tried whole food plant-based and couldn't make it work'cause they didn't have the system to make it enjoyable and sustainable with their busy schedules. But now it's working. Now they've been with us and they're like, this is so simple. Why didn't someone just show me? It's so delicious and they love it and they're thriving And one by one, they're. No longer having to take this medication, no longer having to take that medication. So that's what you wanna ask yourself. What do I want my life to look like? And that answers the question, do I have to give up meat? No, you never have to. But if you realize and can see and hear from someone who helps people daily heal from these diseases telling you. I could give you hundreds of testimonials of people who are able to reverse these diseases that they've been told are chronic and they'll have for life, or have been given a diagnosis and said, you know, you only have X amount of time to live and they're living. 20, 30 years longer, you know it's still alive. These are the kinds of things we're talking about when we're saying you can change the food but have it enjoyable. If you like taco and pizza and burgers and all those things, you can still have them and they can still be meaty and they can still be cheesy, and you can find those things that. You won't even know the difference. Like we had a friend who was sick recently and we made and took over our lasagna. They're like, that lasagna was so good and they're not whole food plant-based, but it had no cheese, no meat. And they're like, it was just so good. We all loved it. And when you have those kinds of recipes, that's the kind of thing that you're going, okay, now I'm onto something because now I have the food that I love that actually loves my body back. That's gold.
